Julie Mclean

Julie serves as the Intake & Operations Coordinator at Cooper & Cooper, P.A., where she plays a central role in client intake, day-to-day operations, and the overall client experience from first contact through onboarding.

With more than 20 years of customer service experience, Julie is known for her ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and help clients feel supported during difficult and often emotional situations. Her background in customer-facing and operational roles has given her a unique ability to balance compassion with organization and efficiency—qualities that are essential in a fast-paced family law environment.

Before transitioning into the legal field, Julie spent nine years working in the veterinary industry, where she developed a strong foundation in client care, communication, and high-level administrative support. She later moved into family law and gained additional experience working at a high-volume family law firm prior to joining Cooper & Cooper, P.A.

Julie originally worked alongside Anthony Cooper at a prior law firm before joining him again at Cooper & Cooper, P.A., where she has become an integral part of the firm’s operations and client relations systems. In her current role, she oversees intake coordination, prospective client communication, scheduling, operational support, and helps ensure that clients receive a smooth and responsive experience from the moment they contact the firm.

Known for her warmth, professionalism, and ability to connect with people, Julie is often one of the first points of contact clients encounter and plays an important role in helping them feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout the legal process.

Outside of the office, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband, Phil, their son Gavin, and their two dogs. She especially enjoys being near the water, spending time outdoors, and creating lasting memories with her family.
