Originally from a small town deep in the mountains of North Carolina, Attorney Anthony Cooper has always had a passion for helping others, which led him to pursue a career in law. Being the first person in his family to attend college, he attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. While attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, his interest in the complexities of law and justice grew. Soon after graduation, Anthony moved to Florida to attend law school, knowing he wanted to dedicate his career to family law.
Anthony attended Florida Coastal School of Law, where he earned a Certificate in Family Law Studies. During law school, Anthony worked as a Certified Legal Intern in the Family Law Clinic, where he gained invaluable hands-on experience assisting clients with family law issues and litigation in court under the supervision of a seasoned legal professor. This early exposure to family law solidified Anthony’s commitment to becoming a family law attorney.
Upon passing the Florida Bar, Anthony began his legal career at a prominent, high-volume family law firm. There, he handled a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, estate planning, and more. His work at the firm gave him the opportunity to collaborate on hundreds—if not thousands—of cases, honing his ability to navigate complex legal issues with precision and empathy. His dedication to his clients and his desire for growth led to a leadership role within the firm, where Anthony managed and mentored other attorneys while overseeing active cases. This experience allowed him to sharpen his strategic thinking and develop a well-rounded understanding of the family law landscape.
Anthony’s unique combination of high-volume experience and management skills has shaped his approach to family law. He is known for providing thoughtful, client-centered legal strategies tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances. Whether navigating a complex divorce, working through custody disputes, or developing long-term estate planning solutions, Anthony is dedicated to securing the best possible outcomes for his clients.
Passionate about supporting families through some of life’s most challenging moments, Anthony believes in a compassionate, hands-on approach to each case. He takes pride in guiding his clients through their legal matters with sensitivity, professionalism, and unwavering commitment.
Outside of his practice, Anthony enjoys spending quality time with his wife, daughter, and their two corgis. Family is at the core of everything he does, and he brings that same dedication and care to his legal work.
