This Is More Than a Legal Assistant Position.
For many people, this position is the first step toward building a long-term career in the legal profession.
At Cooper & Cooper, we believe in promoting from within whenever possible.
Many of the skills that make someone an exceptional legal assistant are the same skills that make an outstanding paralegal: organization, communication, attention to detail, ownership, and a genuine desire to help clients.
If you’re looking for a place where you can learn, grow, and eventually take on greater responsibilities, this opportunity was designed for you.
Build Your Career With a Firm That Is Growing
Cooper & Cooper has grown into a seven-figure law firm in a remarkably short period of time.
That growth has created new opportunities for talented professionals who want to help build a modern, efficient, and highly respected law firm.
We are not looking for someone who simply completes assigned tasks.
We’re looking for someone who wants to build a career.
Someone who enjoys learning.
Someone who takes ownership.
Someone who wants to become an indispensable part of a legal team.
If you’re willing to work hard, embrace feedback, and continually improve, Cooper & Cooper can become the place where your legal career truly begins.
What Makes Cooper & Cooper Different?
A Defined Team Structure
Our goal is to build every legal team around one attorney, one paralegal, and one legal assistant.
Each person has a distinct role, but the team succeeds together.
As a legal assistant, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced attorneys and paralegals, learning not only how to manage cases but also how exceptional legal teams operate.
Meaningful Responsibility
Legal assistants at Cooper & Cooper are trusted with responsibilities that directly impact our clients, our attorneys, and the success of the firm.
You won’t simply answer phones or organize files.
You’ll become an essential part of helping cases move forward while learning the day-to-day operations of a successful law practice.
Modern Technology & Systems
We continually invest in technology, automation, artificial intelligence, and streamlined workflows.
Our goal is to eliminate unnecessary administrative work so our team can spend more time serving clients and less time fighting inefficient systems.
A Clear Path for Growth
We don’t believe careers should remain stagnant.
Our goal is to develop talented people from within the organization whenever possible.
As you gain experience and demonstrate your abilities, you’ll have opportunities to take on increasingly complex responsibilities while working alongside experienced attorneys and paralegals.
For team members who are motivated to continue growing, this position can become the foundation for advancement into a paralegal role and other leadership opportunities within the firm.
We invest in people who invest in themselves.

A Personal Note from Anthony Cooper
One of my favorite parts of building Cooper & Cooper is watching people grow.
Some of the best legal professionals I’ve worked with didn’t begin their careers as experienced paralegals.
They started by learning the fundamentals, asking thoughtful questions, taking ownership of their work, and consistently improving every day.
That’s exactly what this position is about.
We’re looking for someone with the character, work ethic, and desire to build a career—not simply find another job.
If you work hard, embrace feedback, and continue developing your skills, we want Cooper & Cooper to be a place where you can continue advancing professionally for years to come.
We’d love to help you build that future.
